ibis budget Basel Pratteln

Location, cleanliness, excellent staff.

I’ve stayed in IBIS Budget in Geneva on a few occasions and this one in Pratteln is about the same standard. You get what you pay for, which is fully OK for what we needed: a good nights sleep in a clean small standard room with a shower on our way to a sports tournament. We arrived after 9pm and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Parking available downstairs.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in all terms. The manager especially was top quality in communcation, kindness, quick responses. I haven't had such good service even in 5 star, high quality hotels I visited for business reasons. Top of the top. The very compact but so effective eating area was also a big surprise in terms of goodness.

The location is great - close to Z7 club, to the train station and to bus lines. My twin room was clean, breakfast is simple yet satisfying and quantity is enough. The team was nice and helpful, no one bothered me and had the quiet I needed. Recommended and I'll no doubt return there.

Good budget hotel, exactly what you can expect from ibis: new, clean, and ergonomic. Located close to the highway and aquabasilea. In the case of three-person rooms, you must know that the shower cabin opens in the room. For one person's stay, it's ok, but I don't know if for all companies I would feel good about this.
